Cameron Jackson Woodward was born on 8th January 1985 in Mildura, VIC, Australia, to his mother Jenni and father Ross.
In 2004, at the age of just 19 years, he left his home in the Australian state of Victoria, and headed to the United Kingdom, where he joined the Edinburgh Monarchs Premier League speedway team. Leaving Australia to travel across the world at such a young age was a major part of Cameron's life. Prior to his first full season in the UK, he had only raced for the Poole Pirates as a guest on a few occasions, during the 2003 British League Cup series.
His family in Australia consists of his father Ross, Mother Jenni, sisters Kerryn and Kendall.
Away from speedway, his hobbies include mountain biking, water skiing, training and guitar hero world tour.
In 2007, Cameron took his place full-time with the Eastbourne Eagles in the Sky Sports Elite League.
2008 he continued his progress with the Eagles and the team won the Knock Out Cup series.
2009 he hopes to be the biggest year yet, with the Eastbourne Eagles and Stal Rzeszow his main focus.
